  • How soon should I book you?
    I receive requests from brides on a daily basis, so if you know you would like my sevices, I recommend booking sooner rather than later as weekends get booked very quickly.
  • How do you keep your products sanitary?
    It is very important to make sure that your makeup artist is sanitary. Madame Barocco takes great pride in the cleanliness of kits, brushes and all products used. Each product and/or brush is cleaned and sanitized before used on another client.
  • How do I secure an appointment for my wedding date?
    Your appointment can be secured by contacting Madame Barocco and submitting your deposit. Please note, due to the number of enquiries received I can not hold a wedding date until a deposit has been received.
  • How much time do you need on my wedding day?
    I allow 1 to 2 hours for the bride depending on the detailed services that bride is requesting, and 45 minutes for the bridal party.
  • How long will the trial take?
    Included in Barocco's Wedding Packages the trial is held for one hour. To accomodate the needs of the bride I'll ensure she feels comfortable. A $50 fee per hour will be applied if she is requiring more time to test the desired looks.
  • What brands of makeup do you use?
    Motives Cosmetics a professional grade quality providing long lasting results and photogaphs beautifully. A luxurious line designed to nourish the skin while providing excellent coverage and pigment.
  • What payment methods do you accept?
    Accept credit/debit card payments or cash. All payments are due prior to scheduled services.
  • How will my makeup stay fresh throughout my wedding day?
    As a gift to the bride a Barocco Wedding Touch Up Kit is provided with shades that are chose during the trail run. If a bride is afraid she will be crying by blotting the inner corner of the eyes this will avoid tears from pooling out of the eye.
  • Is a make up trial included in the price?
    The fee for a makeup trial is already included if you've invested in one of Barocco's Wedding Packages.
  • What happens at the bridal trial?
    A trial is absolutely essential before the wedding day, however, it is not mandatory. A trial helps both the makeup artist and the bride understand what look will best suit her. It allows the artist a chance to see the considtion of the bride's skin, and determine if such techniques and products are suitable for the bride. This also makes the process on the day of go quick and smooth. The trial will begin with a discussion of the bride's daily beauty regimen, water consumption, allergies, and skin sensitivity. The bride is advised to bring photographs of makeup looks they would like for a better understanding of their vision. A look will then be created and apply any changes if necesary.
  • What do you do for those with skin allergies or sensitivity?
    If anyone has skin allergies or sensitivity I strongly suggest meeting for a trial run early in your wedding planning process. This will make sure there are no reactions to the makeup used. All products used are hypoallergenic and non-comedogenic.
  • Why should I hire you for my bridal makeup?
    It is very important to hire a professional makeup artist for your wedding day. Madame Barocco will ensure that your makeup will last all day and photographs beautifully in both natural and artifical lighting. Providing the ultimate on-location, luxury bridal service, and striving to provide excellent customer service.
  • How soon can I have my trial?
    A trial can take place as soon as you are ready to have it, however, it might be helpful to have it within 3 to 6 months of your wedding. By then you will have your dress and flowers finalized, and should give you a better idea of the look you want.
  • I have a large bridal party can you accomodate?
    Yes, Madame Barocco can accomodate as long as there's a given notice.
  • Can you duplicate a look from a photo, or is it best to match a look with my style?"
    I always ask brides to bring photos of makeup looks they like. Together we will determin how we can transform the desired look and compliment your unique beauty and features.
  • Do you offer eyes only or partial services?
    No, the professional bridal look includes full makeup that is photograph ready.
  • How far in advance do I need to book?
    The sooner you can book the better, although 3 to 12 months in advance is advised. If you procrastinate, no worries, sometimes there's availability.
  • Should I have my hair done before my makeup?
    It is best if your makeup is done after your hair as heated appliances/sprays can interfere with the finished look.
  • Do you come to us or do we come to you?
    For the initial trial run it can be done at your home/location of your choice (trave fees may apply) or at my private atelier. The day of the wedding I will travel to the specified venue or at my atelier if that is convenient for the bride.
  • What are some tips for finding a makeup artist?
    When choosing a makeup artist be sure you have seen photos of their previous work and their work is current. Makeup trends change quickly and you want be sure they are knowledgeable in their field. Not everyone is wanting the “smokey eye” or the “Kardashian” look.
  • Identify the level that is most comfortable to tackle all your beauty struggles
