Spring Summer 2018 Makeup Trends

Val Garland, a legendary makeup pro, reveals her take on Spring Sumer 2018 Makeup Trends. From old school blue eyes, disco grunge, OTT eyeliner, glazed skin, red lips reinvented, and tea stained eyes.

Favored by Barocco

Your options are endless wouldn't you agree? A diva must always have a quality selection, but there's never just ONE that we choose, right? There's always room for a little more...

OTT EYELINER

Over-the-Top (OTT) eyeliner look rock to make a statement. Bold liner calls for simple eyeshadow and dose of your favorite rouge. Be creative on how bold you sculpt your liner while complimenting your features.

RED LIPS REINVENTED

For SS18 we are finally getting a little bit of shine! Intensify those lips and transform them into a luscious duo. Choose from clear/tinted gloss to velvety rich-formula lipstick.

GLAZED SKIN

'Glassing' is the new skin trend for SS18 get ready to gaze into the looking glass. Your skin will look so natural and infused so effortlessly. For a glazed look pick up your favorite highlighter, and apply on the areas you want to accentuate. Be sure to buff the product into the skin extremely well. Apply moisturizer or serum (suitable for your skin type) in a patting motion to bring the highlighted areas back to light.

TEA STAINED EYES

This trend has not left the scene and is one of my absolute favorite looks! Wouldn't you agree? A new-go-to for a smokey eye this summer. While earthy browns can intensify any eye color, compliment this look with natural dewy skin, add a little warmth to those cheeks, and keep the lips softened. Voila!
